CPP31318 Certificate III in Security Operations

This course teaches the safe use of firearms along with batons and handcuffs, defensive tactics and operational planning. The course is also designed to train security guards to work in the collection, transfer and/or delivery of cash and valuables. You must hold a current Security Officers Licence in the relevant jurisdiction to do this course.

Course Fees: $2195

Additional fees for CPP31318 Certificate III in Security Operations may include:

$150.00 administration fee for processing credit transfer application
$135.00 per unit of competency if the student is required to complete additional classroom-based training

The student tuition fees as published are subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment.

Course fees include face-to-face training and assessment, all your course material and manuals, as well as the printing of your certificate/statement of attainment.

In addition to meeting the requirements for CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations, completing this training program will contribute towards licensed outcomes in Victoria for Armed Guard/Cash in Transit.

CPPSEC3120 – Load and unload cash-in-transit in secured and unsecured environments
CPPSEC3110 – Control persons using batons
CPPSEC3111 – Restrain persons using handcuffs
CPPSEC3125 – Implement security procedures to protect critical infrastructure and public assets

ISTA’s Security Industry Firearms Requalification for Licensing Purposes

Our training program is more than just a requalification. ISTA has some of Australia’s most experienced firearms instructors that will enhance and develop your skills and introduce you to the most modern practical shooting methods utilised by Tactical and Specialist agencies both within Australia and internationally. This prequalification includes some self-paced revision.
