Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Fees
Students who believe they have already obtained current skills and knowledge that would otherwise be covered in the qualification / unit of competence for which they intend to attain, should apply for RPL at the time of enrolment. The student’s skills and knowledge will be assessed and validated, and where appropriate, units of competency acknowledged and face-to-face training reduced.

Credit Transfer (CT) Fees
Credit transfer is granted on the basis of the student’s completed nationally recognised units of competency that are equivalent to the units the student plans to or is enrolled in a full qualification. Credit transfer is available to all students enrolling in any training program offered by International Security Training Academy.
Due to regulatory and/or licensing requirements, students may be required to complete additional classroom-based training that may attract additional course fees payable by the student.
Additional fees for CPP20212 Certificate II in Security Operations may include:
$150.00 administration fee for processing credit transfer application
$ 80.00 per unit of competency if the student is required to complete additional classroom-based training
$150.00 for first aid if the student’s first aid was completed over 12 months ago
Additional fees for CPP30411 Certificate III in Security Operations may include:
$150.00 administration fee for processing credit transfer application
$120.00 per unit of competency if the student is required to complete additional classroom-based training
$150.00 for first aid if the student’s first aid was completed over 12 months ago
$650.00 for CPPSEC3018A Provide for the safety of persons at risk
$400.00 for CPPSEC3008A Control security risks using firearms
Additional fees for Certificate IV courses may include:
$150.00 administration fee for processing credit transfer application
$180.00 per unit of competency if the student is required to complete additional classroom-based training

Rescheduling Fees
Students are expected to attend all training sessions punctually, for the entire duration of their course.
If a student misses a class, the student will be given a chance and will be allowed to attend the next available class after paying for the $50.00 rescheduling fees.
The student will be required to fill out a Reschedule Application Form subject to ISTA approval.
ISTA has the right to withdraw a student from the unit/s of competency if they fail to attend a rescheduled class.
Withdrawn students will be responsible to re-enrol and pay fees for the unit/s of competency they wish to complete. Credit Transfer fees and charges will apply, where applicable.
Students being withdrawn from a Course or a Unit of Competency are reminded that their enrolment in Victorian government subsidised training program (or part thereof, and regardless of completion), will affect their future training options and eligibility for further Victorian government subsidised training.
Rescheduling Fees for Firearms Courses
A student will get two chances to pass their firearms practical shoot exams. After two attempts, the student will be charges $200.00 for each re-shoot.
Non-attendance in training sessions for the unit CPPSEC3008A Control security risk situations using firearms without extraordinary circumstances will incur a $200.00 rescheduling fee.
AQF Certification Re-prints
A $35.00 fee applies to produce a statement of attainment when the student has partially completed the training program.
Where the student requests a new copy of their AQF certification, the following fees apply:
- Statement of Attainment $35.00
- Qualification (with academic transcript) $35.00

I Just completed my Certificate II with a good group of people. An eye opener into the industry and I am thankful to trainers and the staff at ISTA for the training and gaining some great advice and experience.
